1. What are AmeriMDs Services?
AmeriMDs Physicians are American Board certified physicians that can provide second opinions in the specific fields that can help you or your doctor come up with best plans for your treatment.
2. Does AmeriMDs provide active patient care?
No. AmeriMDs will not order any prescriptions or tests but will make recommendations for you or your doctor in writing to order and get the tests done. Once the tests are done patient will be responsible to get the results and submit it to AmeriMDs and then will get a follow up response either virtually or in writing about additional recommendations.
3. Does AmeriMDs provide emergency care?
No. AmeriMDs is not a medical clinic or a hospital and do not provide emergency care. All the services will require at lest 72 hours lag period after the visit before written opinion is rendered.
4. How does an AmeriMDs service work?
First step will be to make a booking online. Booking is free and can be made and cancelled at any time. How ever to receive the services, non refundable payment for the consultation must be made in full at least 48 hours before the appointment.
The consultation will typically be in two settings. First will be initial interview which can be on the phone or virtually through zoom where recommendations will be given to the patient to take to their local doctor. Then the patient will provide the results of tests, scans and procedures to our provider.
Then a second optional follow up visit after which a written report with detailed recommendations will be provided.
5. How long will it take to get written report after the second visit?
Please allow at least 72 hours to get the recommendations
6. Are there additional requirements?
There are no specific requirements except ability to access internet and ability to work with email and zoom.
7. Can AmeriMDs be my Doctors?
No. You would need your local doctor and hospital for active management. AmeriMDs can only render second opinions.
8. How do Payments for the different services work?
Patient can choose from one of the available payment options at the time of payment. All payments have to be made in full at least 48 hours before the consultation can be initiated.
9. Are Payments partially or fully Refundable?
No refunds are available. Payments in full are required before any services can be rendered.
10. Does booking require a payment?
No payment are required before Booking. Booking and cancellations are free.
11. Does the second visit to go over the results of the tests ordered on first visit require additional payment?
No the first two visits will be covered with the initial payment. If patient requires additional visits for other services those would require additional payments.
12 Are translation services available?
Consultations are preferably done in English and the written reports will be in English as well. In rare cases certain translation services in particular Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Pashto can be arranged with advanced notice.
13. Are AmeriMD services available in the US?
No. At this time Services are not available in the US.
